Troops from The first Battalion Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment (1 LANCS) took over because the resident infantry battalion in Cyprus this week.
The earlier resident infantry battalion, 2nd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment (2 YORKS), are getting ready to return to the UK.
As a part of 1 LANCS post-deployment coaching they’ve been on the firing vary testing their weapons and getting used to a brand new sighting system.
