when the road stalled and Gen. Cota shouted:
“Rangers, cleared the path.”
fifth Battalion hit the seashore and broke the road.
2nd Battalion scaled the cliffs and silenced the weapons.
That wasn’t a slogan.
It was a calling—
and we’ve by no means stopped answering the decision.
