Smallest British Base in Afghanistan Hosts Combined Battle Group 16.12.13

Sterga 2 is the smallest British base remaining in Afghanistan. Situated South of the river Helmand, it’s the troopers of The Highlanders the 4th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland who’re within the lead there. It’s host to a blended battle group and everybody has an element to play.
