Troopers from 1 RIFLES have arrived in Mali.
They’re taking on from the Royal Irish Regiment, who’ve spent the final six months on Operation Newcombe, coaching the Malian Army.
Mali’s troopers are combating alongside French troops within the north of the nation, driving out Al Qaeda-linked militants.
1 RIFLES shall be a part of the European Union Coaching Mission in Mali.
