Two British service personnel have been killed in Afghanistan after their foot patrol was attacked by two off-duty Afghan policemen, an inquest heard.
Cpl Channing Day, 25, of three Medical Regiment and Cpl David O’Connor, 27, of 40 Commando have been shot lifeless on October 24 final 12 months in a suspected “green-on-blue” assault in Helmand’s Nahr-e Saraj district.
