SHELTON — The Derby-Shelton Memorial Day Parade is again, however with a brand new start line.
The parade will step off on Cornell Avenue at 9 a.m., rain or shine, on Monday, Might 30. The parade will then proceed on Howe Avenue to the standard route ending in Derby on Elizabeth Avenue on the intersection with Cottage Avenue.
Parade members may also be assembling at a brand new location on Canal Avenue. Fireplace departments and different massive equipment will nonetheless park within the municipal lot and be a part of the march when their models go.
