The Caesar truck-mounted artillery system is a 155mm 52-calibre self-propelled gun designed by Nexter Methods, in collaboration with Lohr Industrie.
Greater than 1t of projectiles, 1,500 bomblets, or 48 sensible anti-tank munitions could also be disbursed in lower than one minute by a unit of eight Caesar self-propelled artillery automobiles.
Caesar has a variety of 600km and a prime velocity of 100km/h. On hardened tracks, a centralized floor stress distribution system permits 50km/h. The system has a 240-hp six-cylinder diesel engine with a 13.6hp/t power-to-weight ratio.
