Navy Explains Spill Containment Procedures at Purple Hill Bulk Gasoline Storage Facility


Lt. Cmdr. Joseph Dyches, Deputy Operations Officer for Amenities, Navy Closure Activity Power – Purple Hill (NCTF-RH) explains spill containment procedures to an official from the Environmental Safety Company on the Purple Hill Bulk Gasoline Storage Facility (RHBFSF), April 5, 2024. Charged with the protected decommissioning of the RHBFSF, NCTF-RH was established by the Division of the Navy as a dedication to the neighborhood and the setting. The Navy continues to have interaction with the individuals of Hawaii, regulatory companies, and different stakeholders as NCTF-RH works to securely and intentionally decommission the RHBFSF.
