All 180 K2 tanks that Poland has bought from South Korea might be deployed in north-eastern Poland, near the border with the Russian Kaliningrad enclave, the defence minister has mentioned.

On Tuesday, Poland obtained the primary consignment of ten K2 tanks and 24 K9 self-propelled howitzers.

Mariusz Błaszczak advised an area radio station on Saturday that finally all of the tanks can be shipped to navy models in Morąg, Braniewo and Ostróda.

“It’s the goal location for these tanks,” the defence minister mentioned, including that the K2s had been designed to function in muddy, moist and hilly terrain, which is prevalent within the Polish north-eastern area of Warmia-Mazury.

“It’s our precedence to strengthen the japanese a part of our nation,” he mentioned.
