Army’s sapper models defuse 100 extra Armenian-planted mines in Lachin [PHOTO]

The Azerbaijan military’s engineer-sapper models have defused 100
extra landmines in liberated Lachin District, Azernews studies,
citing the Protection Ministry.

On September 10, extra 100 E-001 M sort anti-personnel
mines made in Armenia in 2021 had been found within the ravine hole of
the northeastern part of the Boyuk Ishigli Mount because of
demining actions undertaken in Lachin District, the ministry
mentioned.

The mines found by the Azerbaijani military engineer-sapper
models had been cleared from the realm consistent with security guidelines.

The sapper models are demining the territories and provide roads
mined by Armenian sabotage teams throughout a large-scale border
provocation. Furthermore, engineering assist actions are
underway.

Some 122 Armenian-planted mines had been found in Lachin
District on September 19, the ministry reported.

Earlier, the Azerbaijan Mine Motion Company reported {that a}
large variety of PMN-E sort mines, the usage of which is prohibited

The found mines had been produced in Armenia in 2021 following the
44-day warfare (2020).
