Prior to now 50 years, tens of 1000’s of chicken strikes have been recorded on navy plane.
In critical instances, they’ve introduced jets down, leading to a number of casualties and lack of life.
To attempt to stop it taking place, runways and areas round navy bases are always cleared of chicken exercise.
