In 2012, GBRS Co-Founder Cole Fackler deployed to Afghanistan simply three weeks after his first son was born. This mission was not like something he’d confronted—each room they stayed in belonged to somebody who by no means made it residence. The air was heavy, the bottom felt unsafe, and hazard was in all places. This was the deployment that also retains him up at night time.
