Duke & Duchess of Cambridge Mark St Patrick’s Day 17.03.14

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had been the company of honour at this 12 months’s 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day parade in Aldershot. It’s the third 12 months they’ve attended since Prince William was appointed the Colonel of the Regiment in 2011.

The Duchess offered sprigs of shamrocks to round 300 troopers on parade and honoured the regimental mascot, Irish wolf hound Domhnall, together with his personal bunch of the well-known plant.
