Aren Brandfass spent greater than 20 years in the USA Marine Corps and served as a machine gunner, sniper, Recon Marine, Marine Raider and extra. On this episode, we talk about Aren’s pre-9/11 profession and his choice to get out of the Marines. He then describes signing again up after 9/11 and collaborating within the invasion of Iraq as a sniper with 2nd Battalion 1st Marines.

Following his deployment to Iraq, Aren was assigned as an teacher on the Marine Corps legendary Sniper College. Aren was able to take his profession to the subsequent degree by attending Primary Reconnaissance Course and becoming a member of the legendary 1st Recon Battalion.
