Michael is a former a hundred and sixtieth SOAR Black Hawk pilot who served in Operations Prime Likelihood, Simply Trigger, Desert Storm, and Gothic Serpent. Michael was held captive after his Blackhawk was shot down in Mogadishu and wrote in regards to the ordeal in his e book In The Firm of Heroes.
