John Dailey is a retired Marine sniper who served with the experimental MARSOC Detachment 1 because the Chief Sniper. He was an unique member of the unit and helped construct their Sniper program from the bottom up. In 2004, he and his staff served in Iraq as a part of a Navy Seal process unit and the snipers have been efficiently used to remove targets in Najaf.
