Ep. 221 | Fallujah Our bodies | Hanthorne, Moran, Ites

Michael Hanthorne served as a motor transport operator, however throughout the Second Battle of Fallujah, his major accountability was because the ‘physique bag man.’ Brian Moran, a third-generation Marine radio operator, was tasked with coordinating the pickup of fallen fighters and logging all radio site visitors to and from the Potato Manufacturing facility. Cheryl Ites, who joined the Marine Corps in 1974, led this motley crew, overseeing the retrieval and burial of almost 600 enemy fighters. That is their story.
