At the moment we hear a heartbreaking but inspiring set of fight tales of three brothers, instructed by the one one to outlive the post-9/11 battlefield: former Marine Beau Clever.
Whereas serving in Afghanistan, Beau’s brother Jeremy, a SEAL veteran and CIA contractor, was killed in an al Qaeda suicide bombing that devastated the US intelligence group (as you’ll hear on this interview and as depicted on this scene from Zero Darkish Thirty – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daX6laT7rks – and likewise within the e book Triple Agent).
Lower than three years later, Inexperienced Beret Ben Clever was fatally wounded after volunteering for a harmful project throughout a firefight with the Taliban.
Ben was posthumously awarded the Silver Star, whereas Jeremy acquired the Intelligence Star AND a star on the CIA’s Memorial Wall, which I can attest to.
Our visitor, Beau, is the one recognized American service member to be pulled from the battlefield after shedding two brothers in Afghanistan. This was a difficult interview however one which I’m eternally grateful that I used to be allowed to do.
