The secretary of the Navy and chief of naval operations introduced as we speak the next assignments:

Rear Adm. Daniel L. Cheever shall be assigned as chief of employees, North American Aerospace Protection Command; and chief of employees, U.S. Northern Command, Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Cheever is at the moment serving as director of plans, coverage and technique, North American Aerospace Protection Command; and director of plans, coverage and technique, U.S. Northern Command, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Rear Adm. Paul J. Schlise shall be assigned as director, Warfare Growth, N72, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Schlise is at the moment serving as director, Floor Warfare Division, N96, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. Douglas C. Verissimo shall be assigned as director, Maritime Operations, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia.  Verissimo is at the moment serving as director, Evaluation Division, N81, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. Dean A. VanderLey shall be assigned as commander, Naval Services Engineering Programs Command; and chief of civil engineers, with further duties as deputy commander for services and atmosphere, Navy Installations Command; and deputy commander for services and atmosphere, Marine Corps Installations Command, Washington, D.C.  VanderLey is at the moment serving as commander, Naval Services Engineering Command Pacific; and director, Fleet Civil Engineer, U.S. Pacific Fleet, with further responsibility as fleet civil engineer, N46, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Rear Adm. Peter G. Vasely shall be assigned as deputy director for joint coaching, J-7, Joint Workers, Suffolk, Virginia.  Vasely is at the moment serving as particular assistant to director, Navy Workers, Norfolk, Virginia.

Rear Adm. John F. Wade shall be assigned as deputy commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  Wade is at the moment serving as director of operations, J-3, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) Jeffrey T. Anderson, chosen for promotion to rear admiral, shall be assigned as director of operations, J-3, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.  Anderson is at the moment serving as commander, Service Strike Group Three, Bremerton, Washington.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) Matthew J. Burns shall be assigned as commander, Particular Reconnaissance and Enabling Command, U.S. Particular Operations Command, MacDill Air Drive Base, Florida.  Burns is at the moment serving as assistant commander-operations, Joint Particular Operations Command, U.S. Particular Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) Thomas M. Henderschedt shall be assigned as director, J2, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.  Henderschedt is at the moment serving as senior protection official and Protection Attaché – China, Beijing, China.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) Lawrence F. LeGree shall be assigned as deputy commander, Joint Interagency Process Drive-South, U.S. Southern Command, Key West, Florida.  LeGree is at the moment serving as assistant chief of employees (J-3), Joint Forces Command, Naples, Naples, Italy.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) William P. Pennington, chosen for promotion to rear admiral, shall be assigned as chief of employees, U.S. Area Command, Peterson Air Drive Base, Colorado.  Pennington is at the moment serving as deputy commander, Tenth Fleet, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Rear Adm. (decrease half) Philip E. Sobeck shall be assigned as director, Strategic Plans, Coverage, Logistics, J-5/4, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Drive Base, Illinois.  Sobeck is at the moment serving as commander, Logistics Group, Western Pacific; and commander, Process Drive Seven Three, Singapore.

Capt. George E. Bresnihan, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as director, Logistics Directorate, J-4, U.S. Africa Command, Stuttgart, Germany.  Bresnihan is at the moment serving as chief of employees, Naval Provide Programs Command, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Capt. Matthew Case, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic, with further duties as director, Tidewater Market; and chief of the Medical Service Corps, Portsmouth, Virginia.  Case is at the moment serving as government assistant to the surgeon basic of the Navy, Washington, D.C.

Capt. Carey H. Money, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as chaplain of the Marine Corps; and deputy chief of chaplains of the Navy, N097B, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Money is at the moment serving as commanding officer, Naval Chaplaincy Faculty and Middle, Newport, Rhode Island.

Capt. Adan G. Cruz, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as deputy director, Political-Army Affairs (Center East), J-5, Joint Workers, Washington, D.C.  Cruz is at the moment serving as deputy, Fight Programs and Integration, N96, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Capt. John E. Dougherty IV, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Naval Air Warfare Middle, Plane Division; and assistant commander for analysis and engineering, Naval Air Programs Command (AIR-4.0).  Dougherty is at the moment serving as main program supervisor, Program Govt Workplace for Tactical Plane Applications, Patuxent River, Maryland.

Capt. Keith A. Hash, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Naval Air Warfare Middle, Weapons Division; and assistant commander for Check and Analysis, Naval Air Programs Command (AIR-5.0), Patuxent River, Maryland.  Hash is at the moment serving as program supervisor for air warfare, PMA-298, Naval Air Programs Command, Patuxent River, Maryland.

Capt. Tracy L. Hines, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as Navy Cyber Safety Division director, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Hines is at the moment serving as government assistant to the chief of naval operations, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Capt. Stephen J. Jackson, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as deputy director, Operations, and Integration Directorate, Protection Risk Discount Company, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  Jackson is at the moment serving as Navy packages and coverage director, Expeditionary Fight Department Head, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Capt. Jeffrey J. Kilian, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Naval Services Engineering Command Pacific; and director, Fleet Civil Engineer, U.S. Pacific Fleet, with further responsibility as fleet civil engineer, N46, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  Kilian is at the moment serving as chief of employees, Naval Services Engineering Programs Command, Washington, D.C.

Capt. Ryan M. Perry, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as Navy chief of knowledge, Washington, D.C.  Perry is at the moment serving as drive public affairs officer, Naval Particular Warfare Command, San Diego, California. 

Capt. Mark B. Sucato, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Navy Area Northwest, Silverdale, Washington.  Sucato is at the moment serving as deputy director, Reserve Warfare Necessities and Capabilities, N9, Workplace of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

Capt. Guido F. Valdes, chosen for promotion to rear admiral (decrease half), shall be assigned as commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, with further duties as director, San Diego Market; and chief of the Medical Corps, San Diego, California.  Valdes is at the moment serving as deputy commander, Naval Medical Forces Atlantic, Portsmouth, Virginia.
