Fort Bragg soldiers being investigated for illegal drug activity

Officers at Fort Bragg affirm there’s an investigation into unlawful drug exercise amongst a couple of dozen of its troopers.

The troopers are assigned to the U.S. Army Particular Operations Command unit. Particular Ops didn’t specify if the troopers are being investigated for illegally utilizing medicine, promoting medicine, or each.

In response to Particular Ops, the troopers have been questioned final week and have since been launched again to their items. Two further troopers who have been initially a part of the investigation have been cleared.

Particular Ops stated there haven’t been any arrests or fees filed but. Nevertheless, the 13 troopers have had their information flagged, which means they don’t seem to be capable of have interaction in actions like transferring to a different unit, base or obtain an award.

A press release from Particular Ops reads partly:

“The usage of unlawful medicine or every other criminal activity goes immediately towards the Particular Operation Forces’ values and doesn’t mirror the habits we demand from each Soldier in our formation…We’re taking measures at each stage to make sure the well being and welfare of our Troopers and to cut back these dangerous behaviors…”

The Army’s Felony Investigation Division is wanting into the case.
