Franklin Parker Sworn in as Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower & Reserve Affairs > United States Navy > News-Tales

Parker has served in quite a lot of coverage and senior management positions together with Senior Counsel, Intelligence Options, for BAE Programs’ Intelligence & Safety Sector, BAE’s Director and Senior Counsel, Worldwide Commerce and Compliance, for the Platforms & Providers Sector, and Chief Counsel for the U.S. Division of Transportation’s Maritime Administration. Previous to becoming a member of the Division of the Navy, Mr. Parker practiced regulation for a number of years at three main nationwide regulation companies in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Washington D.C.

Parker beforehand held the place of Assistant Secretary of the Navy for M&RA from January 2016 to January 2017.

Moreover, his portfolio consists of the DON’s Workplace of Equal Employment Alternative, Workplace of Pressure Resiliency; Naval Training; Manpower, Analytics and Human Assets Programs; Variety, Fairness and Inclusion; Board for Correction of Naval Information, Council of Assessment Boards, Assistant Administration Workplace, and DON’s lifecycle administration of senior executives throughout the division.

Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale, a Juris Physician from Stanford College, and Masters of Public Coverage from John F. Kennedy College of Authorities at Harvard College.
