Georgian demand of Russian troops’ withdrawal stays in power

The Georgian Authorities is not going to take again its demand of withdrawal of Russian occupation troops from the nation’s occupied territories, Archil Talakvadze, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament, mentioned on Tuesday.

Talakvadze made the remark in response to a query on whether or not the Authorities would make a press release demanding the occupation troops are withdrawn, following an analogous request by the Authorities of Moldova made final week.

Russian troopers and army models are on the territory of Georgia illegally. We signed the ceasefire settlement after the 2008 struggle, which supplied for the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Georgia,” the Parliament official mentioned.

Talakvadze added the Authorities had “at all times” demanded withdrawal of the Russian troops because the 2008 battle between the 2 states, and the request remained in power.
