A horse whose wonderful story impressed the play Warfare Horse has been given the very best honour for animal gallantry. Warrior led three regiments of the Canadian Cavalry on the Western Entrance, serving by a few of the bloodiest battles of the Nice Warfare. And at present he was awarded an honourary PDSA Dickin Medal.
