Troopers from the Army Reserve’s London Regiment have been constructing their mortar hearth expertise on Salisbury plain. The Mortar Platoon of A-Firm fired greater than 200 dwell rounds in day and night time train. For some, it was an opportunity to refresh and develop their expertise, however for eight of the reservists, it was a check to finish their cadre and qualify with the 81mm mortar.
