Through the 254 days they have been deployed to the Center East in 2016-2017, the crew of HMS Daring achieved unparalleled success on operations which, on account of sensitivities on the time, couldn’t be reported overtly to the media. Returning to the UK in Could 2017, the British Kind 45 destroyer and her crew of 260 women and men of the Royal Navy have been awarded the Hero Abroad – Unit prize on the 2018 #Millies.
