The thirteenth Version of the Indo-US Joint Special Forces train “Ex Vajra Prahar 2022” commenced on the Special Forces Coaching Faculty (SFTS), Bakloh in Himachal Pradesh on August 8. 

“The Vajra Prahar collection of joint train goals to share greatest practices and experiences in areas resembling joint mission planning and operational techniques and in addition to enhance inter-operability between the Special Forces of each the Nations,” the Army stated in an announcement.

Along with this train, the India-U.S. Army train ‘Yudh Abhyas’ is scheduled to be held in excessive altitude space in Uttarakhand which falls within the Central sector of the Line of Precise Management (LAC).

The U.S. contingent is represented by personnel from the first Special Forces Group (SFG) and Particular Ways Squadron (STS) of the U.S. Special Forces and the Indian Army contingent is fashioned by drawing Special Forces personnel below the aegis of SFTS.

In the course of the course of the subsequent 21 days, groups of each the armies would collectively practice, plan and execute a collection of Particular Operations, Counter Terrorist Operations, Air Borne operations in simulated standard and unconventional situations in mountainous terrain, the assertion added.

The annual train is hosted alternatively between India and the U.S. with the twelfth version held at Joint Base Lewis Mcchord, Washington (U.S.A.) in October 2021.
