Kenya deploys army to DR Congo to struggle M23 rebels

Kenya deployed troops on Wednesday to the Democratic Republic of Congo to battle the March 23 Motion (M23) rebels within the nation’s troubled east in a joint operation by a regional bloc, President William Ruto introduced.

The Kenyan troopers will make up a part of the East African Neighborhood (EAC) power, an assemblage of army models from the area that’s serving to the Congolese military’s efforts to quell the perennial violence within the area.
