Lovell Rogers, Jr. was born in Goodwater, Alabama on January 16, 1933.
He lived together with his grandmother, Maude Rogers, in Alabama till he was a young person and so they moved to New Kensington, Pennsylvania. In highschool, Lovell excelled and realized to play the drums whereas at New Kensington Excessive College.
