MEP Marina Kaljurand “appalled” by current army operation launched by Azerbaijan – Public Radio of Armenia


I’m appalled by the current critical breaches of the ceasefire on the Nagorno-Karabakh line of contact and specifically the army operation launched by Azerbaijan on 3 August across the Lachin hall and within the north-western part, Chair of the EU Delegation for relations with the South Caucasus, MEP
Marina Kaljurand stated in an announcement.

“As admitted by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Protection, its operation included airstrikes by UAVs and resulted within the capturing of plenty of advantageous new positions past the road of contact,” she stated.

“I deplore the lack of life on either side and urge a right away halt to using drive. I name on all actors to indicate utmost restraint and stress that every one army items should retreat to their positions in keeping with the trilateral assertion of 9 November 2020,” Marina Kaljurand stated.

“Azerbaijan and Armenia have a historic alternative to finish many years of battle and lay the
