New violations of Greek airspace by Turkish fighters

A pair of Turkish F-16 fighter jets flew over the Greek islands of Panagia, Oinousses, and Farmakonisi on Wednesday. Particularly, the pair of fighter jets flew over Panagia and Oinousses at roughly 2.30 p.m. at an altitude of 1,500 toes, and later flew over Farmakonisi at 2.46 p.m. at an altitude of 9,00 toes. The Turkish jets have been recognized and intercepted by Greek fighter jets as laid out by worldwide legislation and follow.

Related incidents have been recorded each on Monday and Tuesday.

In keeping with Kathimerini, elevated Turkish violations of Greek airspace could also be linked to the go to of Basic Konstantinos Floros, Chief of the Hellenic Nationwide Protection Basic Workers (GEETHA), to army items stationed on Greek islands. The final has already visited items on Samos, Ikaria, Agathonisi, and Fournos.

Ankara, as a part of a wider effort to advertise its stance on the demilitarization of the islands, states that visits by army and political officers on the islands of the east Aegean are violations of previous diplomatic agreements governing their sovereignty.
