Outdated Ironsides Sails Once more After Two Years of Restoration

The USS Structure, the world’s oldest commissioned warship nonetheless afloat, has returned to Boston’s waters. The undocking of “Outdated Ironsides” on Sunday marked the tip of restoration work that began two years in the past, officers stated. A celebration was held on the USS Structure Museum.

The picket ship was launched in 1797 and earned its well-known nickname notching victories within the Warfare of 1812.
