Collectively Jay and Evan discuss his navy service, being shot within the arm and having to carry out surgical procedure on himself within the discipline of battle and being hit by a mortar spherical that induced accidents resulting in the amputation of his leg. Even after his accidents he continued to requalify as a Inexperienced Beret and proceed to serve his group and nation to this present day.
