The ASWCC meets every year to help the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) in its efforts to develop a extra built-in, synchronized, and long-term strategy to creating its Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capabilities. A serious goal of the ASWCC is to verify current progress made on strengthening alliance ASW functionality.

ASWCC was established in August 2014 when seventh Fleet and CRF signed the ASW Enchancment Program Constitution and has since met yearly to supply oversight to Alliance stakeholders charged with enhancing ASW readiness within the Korean Theater of Operations.
