On April seventh, 2003, throughout an in depth air assist mission over Baghdad, my plane was hit by an enemy missile. In that second, I assumed I won’t make it. With no hydraulics, I needed to depend on coaching and intuition to get the jet out of hazard and away from town. This was a life-or-death second.
