The U.S. Marines Simply Fielded a New Amphibious Fight Car With a 30mm Cannon – The U.S. Marines are getting a brand new technique to deliver critical firepower to the battlefield. The ACV-30 combines an eight-wheeled amphibious fight car with Kongsberg’s remotely operated PROTECTOR RT-20 turret and a 30mm XM813 Bushmaster cannon. The unmanned turret retains the crew protected contained in the hull whereas offering stabilized firepower, dual-feed ammunition, and under-armor reloading.
