Three Youngsters Died at Camp Lejeune on Identical Day, Navy Says

Three kids died at a North Carolina army base on the identical day, officers stated.

The deaths have been reported over the weekend on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, roughly 125 miles southeast of Raleigh.

“We’re conscious of the tragic passing of three dependent kids in two separate and unrelated incidents on MCB Camp Lejeune April 16, and supply our deepest condolences to the households of these affected,” Maj. Matt Finnerty of the U.S. Marine Corps informed McClatchy News in an electronic mail.

Whereas officers did not reveal how the kids died, WCTI and WNCT reported there have been no shootings concerned. The Naval Prison Investigative Service (NCIS) is investigating, based on the information retailers.
