Ukraine, Russia Fail to Agree on Stop-Fireplace, as Moscow Shelling Kills Civilians

KYIV, Ukraine—Talks between Russia and Ukraine on a possible cease-fire ended with no deal on Monday as Moscow intensified its assault, killing no less than 10 civilians in a shelling assault on residential neighborhoods within the jap metropolis of Kharkiv and pursuing efforts to grab the capital, Kyiv.

Ukrainian and Russian negotiators, who met in Belarus simply inside its border with Ukraine, returned to their capitals for consultations and agreed to fulfill once more within the coming days on the Polish-Belarusian border. Each delegations stated the five-hour assembly led to some progress.
