The final surviving officer who fought within the Battle of El Alamein has been sharing a few of his reminiscences with modern-day troopers.
Lieutenant Colonel Charlie Cameron served within the Queen’s Personal Cameron Highlanders within the Second World Conflict – an earlier model of the trendy day 7 SCOTS.
He’s been to go to the reserve unit at its base in Perth. @David_A_McCann went alongside!
