Unity March Ceremony held to honor Martin Luther King Jr. > Tinker Air Drive Base > Article Show



Dozens of individuals gathered exterior the Wright Flyer Monument at Tinker Air Drive Base for a Martin Luther King Jr. Unity March Ceremony.


Attendees, together with 72nd Air Base Wing management, started the march close to the intersection of Arnold St. and Air Depot Blvd. The group then walked down Arnold Avenue to the Tinker Occasion Heart for a ceremony.


Stephanie Wilson, Tinker Air Drive Base Civil Engineer, was a visitor speaker. Wilson spoke to the group concerning the influence of MLK Jr.’s speeches on her life.


The occasion was organized by the Tinker Air Drive Base Black Heritage Council.
