Main James Capers led a 4 day mission in Vietnam that ought to have killed him. His unit was inserted, took heavy contact, and fought by the night time with every thing they’d. He was wounded, his canine was killed, and when the helicopter lastly got here in to drag them out, he informed the crew to take his males and depart him behind. President Trump signed a invoice awarding him the Medal of Honor for what he did on that path, outnumbered and outgunned, refusing to desert a single Marine regardless of the associated fee. On this episode, Main Capers sits right down to stroll by the mission, the selections made beneath fireplace, and what it truly means to deliver each man house when every thing round you is falling aside.
